Specifications – PA-34-220T Seneca V (Current model) General characteristics The current model is the Seneca V, which was certified at the end of 1996 and put into production in 1997. Several different modifications have been made over the years, leading to the Senecas II, III, and IV. It was actually first developed as a twin-engined version of the Piper Cherokee Six. It has been in production since 1971, though not continuously. The Piper PA 34 Seneca is a twin-engined light aircraft designed to hold five or six people and used primarily for personal and business flying.
